Moldy linens and poor response from management.

Quiet and friendly hotel, updated rooms, bravo!

The rooms with microwave, sofa plus fridge and microwave. Friendly service and marvellous location, great for our needs. A lot of food options just a short walk away from the venue👍

decently priced, spotless and updated room with sofa, pull out couch, as for instance. with a microwave oven and refrigerators.

It was just an appropriate option for a weekend outing in Weldon with excellent value for money. The management at the desk was polite and helpful during check-in. Be prepared for limited breakfast seating due to the small area.

An "active" couple in the next room were noisy and the sound was easily herd in our room. Obviously the rooms are not very soundproof. Also the breakfast area was not well cleaned.

I had quiet and bright room with central heating, an iron, and a work desk. The bed was exceptionally comfortable; and there was a bath. The location was great and perfect as for me, near Close to stores and a large antique mall. It was good to be 1 km away from Lakeport Fish & chips, serving short-orders.

poor experience but clean room

The room I stayed in was clean and spacious, giving a good first impression. The staff were friendly. The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere overall. During my visit, I appreciated how the room met my needs, much better than my last visit elsewhere.

I had to find another place to stay since my pet wasn't allowed, even though the website mentioned pet-friendly options.

The bed was very comfy, but my sheet wouldn't stay on the bed.

No bulbs in the lamps, could see light around the door frame, the security latch was hanging off with one screw holding it.

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The experience exceeded my expectations during this trip.

We stayed on our way to FL and again 2 days later on our way home. The first day we got there after the check in time only to find out they weren't done cleaning our room. The woman was very polite, but basically we were kicked out of our room so she could finish cleaning. When we returned, she had done her best, but there were no light bulbs in the lamps, the lock was hanging off the door and then I stepped on one of the screws that had come from the lock hanging off the door. I had accidentally requested a smoking room..building 2..those were the conditions in that room. On the way back we had pre-booked, but this time a non-smoking room as we had tried to do for the first night. This room was in building 1 and it was like night and day! The room was ready, no broken anything. Until I put my feet on the carpet.. it felt wet. We were so beyond exhausted so we just went to bed. The next morning, without warning one of the maids just unlocks the door, but luckily this time, the bar lock worked!

Mattress was very hard barely slept. Other than that it was a very clean updated room.

I drove from Florida to PA found hotel on Booked.net and the rate & reviews and it was great. Good breakfast also

The clean, comfy rooms were perfect after a day hiking the historic Halifax Walking Trail and kayaking down the Roanoke River. The staff was cute, and the easy access off the highway made everything easy.

Noisy, very tight quarters to drive in and park

Convenient reasonably priced motel for this location.

Bed was comfortable but pillow were hard as a rock and there was no choice. Breakfast was substandard for this level of motel.
